Looking For Alaska by John Green

One thing that I learnt about myself today is that when I dont really like a book, I cannot picture what is happening. When i read books that I really love, I can picture the whole book while I'm reading, it like watching a movie because I see everything thats happening. The book I'm reading Looking For Alaska (John Green)  I cannot picture it, and I'm not really enjoying it. But sometimes a book doesn't get good until you get to the middle.

There isn't a passage I found particularly interesting, there were no interesting metaphors or scenes that were really interesting or well written.John Green doesn't describe surroundings or where the characters are.

I thought this book was going to be better because I read John Greens other book (Paper towns) and that was an amazing book, but I'm not enjoying this book. Im pretty disapointed because I thought it would be better.
